Norhill is a wonderful old close-in Houston neighborhood abutting Woodland Heights just north of Katy
Freeway near downtown. Many of the original homes have been renovated and the area is a popular residential
community with a number of young urban professionals living there and working downtown and in other
nearby business districts.  The civic association is active and numerous other amenities make Norhill a desirable
community.

Two Realtors Listing and Selling Homes in Norhill
One of the main objectives
in the real estate practice of
Amanda Anhorn is to assure
clients that as their Realtor
she fully understands what
they are going through and
will do her best to facilitate
stress-free transactions.
 Anhorn attained a Texas
real estate license in 2002
and began working at the
Greenwood King Properties
office on Heights Boulevard,
where she continually has
performed as a top
producing sales associate.      
She was first honored as
Rookie of the Year at the
end of 2002 for her sales
production, and during the
following years as a top
producer in the office.  
  In her real estate practice
with Greenwood King
Properties, Anhorn
specializes in listing and
selling close-in Houston
residential properties.  She’
s sold homes in Norhill,
Houston Heights, Garden
Oaks, Oak Forest,
Timbergrove Manor,
Lazybrook, Southampton,
Avalon, Upper Kirby and
numerous other
neighborhoods.
 Her husband, Rich Anhorn,
joined as a partner in her
real estate practice after
attaining his license in
2004.  They work together
on each transaction with the
intent of providing clients
immediate service.
Service always has been a
top priority for Anhorn, as
evidenced in her previous
business background as a
flight attendant for a major
airline.
  Before working for the
airline Anhorn earned a
degree in management
information systems with a
minor in computer science
from Florida State
University.
  After college, she worked in
the computer industry.
  Anhorn transferred to
Houston in 1993 while still
working as a flight attendant.  
When she purchased a home
in Houston Heights her real
estate agent noticed Anhorn’s
ability to work well with
people and her enjoyment in
house hunting.  Even after
finalizing the purchase of her
home, the agent would call to
ask if she wanted to preview
houses with him because he
knew she enjoyed it so much.  
She began conducting some of
his public open houses and
finally decided to take his
advice to become a Realtor.
  “I love the Heights!  It’s like
a small neighborly town in the
middle of a big city.  Our first
home was a a two-bedroom
bungalow that we outgrew with
our two children.  We’ve now
moved into a larger Heights
house,” said Anhorn, who
holds and Accredited Buyers
Representative and Luxury
Home Market designations.
  Anhorn stated that many of
her clients are very savvy
about the Internet and shop for
homes online before
contacting a Realtor. She posts
her listings on the websites
available through Greenwood
King Properties and the
Houston Association of
Realtors Multiple Listing
Service.  In addition, Anhorn
advertises her listings through
the other marketing programs
available at Greenwood King
Properties.
  The Anhorns are very detail
oriented in their work. They
attend initial listing
appointments together in
order to give owners two
opinions as to what needs to be
done to prepare for a sale.  
Both have become very
entrenched in Houston
communities and its real
estate market.
